This is what I created for a class I'm taking on advanced web development. Completely standards compliant, and controlled using CSS. Pretty cut and dry. Took me about 2 hours to put together the whole sample site.

ohmahgoodness I love CSS, I started poking my site, and looking through tutorials and managed to discover the amazing world of css and I haven't looked back since. Love it, love it, love it.

I thought it was a good design myself, but sadly for me, my teacher did not. According to him, that's only worth a C even though it was one of the two best designs in the class... and his reasoning for it being a C was because it didn't totally fill up a 1024x768 screen. :(

doh! still a nice one :clap:...you could enhance it and put it/sell it to someone! (I'd use white or other noticable color for the top navigation bar fonts may be?)

*drops jaw* Well... poo at your teacher, he must not have very good taste or something. Lamer. Not totally filling up a 1024x768? That's a bunch of bull, if I'm not mistaken a good majority of computers are at a 800x600 resolution. *sigh* well, I think it was great and give it an A+.
